AI compliance becomes a product line as rules diverge by state and country
Quick Heal has launched Seqrite NOVA Data Privacy, an AI-powered compliance offering aimed at small businesses facing India's DPDP Act. It joins packaged AI governance launches from Fusemachines on 29 October and Sierra on 28 October.

Quick Heal sells Seqrite NOVA in three tiers: Lite, Essentials and Professional. The packs cover SOHOs, SMBs and mid-enterprises. The company says buyers can start with the capabilities they need and add more as they grow.
Fusemachines took a narrower route. On 29 October it rolled out an AI Usage Consent Module inside HireFoundry.ai, its hiring product. The module targets employers recruiting across all 50 US states. Sierra shipped Compliance Console on 28 October inside its Horizon agent platform. The console has settings for disclosures, contact windows, holiday exclusions and frequency limits. H2O.ai announced H2O-3 Secure, a commercially licensed edition of its open source H2O-3 platform. It adds role-based access control, tamper-evident audit logs and end-to-end model lineage.
The pattern repeats. A rule that used to sit with a customer's legal team becomes a configuration screen. For buyers, the question shifts. It moves from whether a policy exists to whether the product blocks or logs the action.
"Every H2O algorithm stays free and open source, true to our founding mission," said Sri Ambati, founder and CEO of H2O.ai. "But when a model decides a loan, prices a policy, or flags fraud, open source alone isn't enough." The company says 2 million data scientists use H2O-3.
A patchwork of rules drives demand
Every vendor describes the same problem: there is no single rulebook. H2O.ai lists financial services, insurance, telecommunications, healthcare and the public sector as the buyers it wants for H2O-3 Secure.
Fusemachines said employers cannot rely on a single nationwide consent standard. Requirements differ by jurisdiction, by the technology in use and by that technology's role in hiring. Sierra said rules vary by locale. Countries, states and industries set their own terms for who companies may contact, when, how often and what they must tell them. It says agents have moved in the last six months from one-off support conversations to interactions lasting weeks or months. Originating a loan or collecting a late payment now runs across many contacts.
The global compliance software market had an estimated value of USD 35.82 billion in 2025. GlobeNewswire distributed a ResearchAndMarkets report that projects USD 78.85 billion by 2033. It projects a 10.5% compound annual growth rate from 2026 to 2033.
What the controls actually enforce
Fusemachines is explicit on the blocking side. If a candidate declines consent, the interview continues directly with the recruiter. Interview Agent does not join, listen, transcribe or analyze the call, the company said. Recruiters still choose what to ask and remain responsible for assessments and hiring decisions.
H2O.ai points at standards and paperwork. It says it built H2O-3 Secure to FedRAMP High engineering standards. Those are the same controls behind its H2O.ai Cloud for Government authorization. The company says the edition supports customers operating under SOC 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001. It also says it designed its GLM algorithm to support regulator-facing interpretability requirements. H2O.ai says every model trained in H2O-3 can be exported as a MOJO, a self-contained scoring artifact. The company says the model risk teams validate is the one that runs in fraud, credit and pricing systems.
Quick Heal's claims are about discovery and language. Seqrite NOVA can recognize text embedded in scanned documents and images. It can translate consent experiences, privacy notices and cookie preference menus into 22 officially recognized Indian languages. Quick Heal says DPDP requires privacy notices that customers can read in Indian languages.
What happens next
H2O.ai said H2O-3 Secure is available immediately, on its own or as part of H2O AI Cloud. Sierra said Compliance Console sits inside Horizon. Each control is adjustable to reflect local rules and a company's own requirements.
None of them published a price or a third-party audit of the controls in use. Buyers weighing the four will compare vendor descriptions, not measured behaviour.
