Realbotix renames Echo humanoid line as Series 1
Realbotix renamed its Echo humanoid robot platform as Realbotix Series 1 on 4 November 2026, saying the change applies only to the product name while prices, the 250-unit first run and second-half 2027 delivery plans stay unchanged.

What changed
Realbotix announced on 4 November 2026 that its Echo humanoid robot platform has been renamed Realbotix Series 1. The revision applies only to the product name, the company said. The robots, specifications, prices, production plans, character options and ordering process remain unchanged.
Realbotix described the change as a way to avoid trademark concerns and to place its flagship commercial humanoid products directly under the Realbotix brand. The rename follows the platform's launch as Echo on 26 October 2026, making it a rebrand of an existing product line rather than a separate robot introduction.
Chief executive Andrew Kiguel said the Series 1 name aligns the products with the brand's recognition for lifelike robots. He said the robots "think, decide, and interact independently" with their own personalities and on-device intelligence.
Same hardware and prices
The Series 1 line keeps two models. The Tabletop costs $11,950 and has 17 degrees of freedom. The Full Body costs $59,950, about five times the Tabletop price, and has 39 degrees of freedom. Realbotix said the Full Body has fluid upper-body movement.
The Tabletop weighs about 25 pounds and measures 13 by 13 by 32 inches. It is intended for one-on-one education, therapy and personal wellness. The Full Body weighs about 88 pounds and measures 28 by 28 by 72 inches in its female version or 28 by 28 by 77 inches in its male version.
Both models support more than 100 languages and respond in the language used to address them. Customers can choose from four characters: Aria, Mila, Dave and Amar. Faces, heads and bodies can be replaced separately.
Operating either robot requires a monthly Realbotix Robot Configuration App subscription, with tiers starting at $19.99. The optional Vinci vision system is an add-on that handles facial recognition and gaze tracking on the device. The Daily Mail reported that the Vinci upgrade costs an extra $24,950.
A $199 deposit reserves priority delivery in the first production run. Organizations ordering 10 or more robots can request volume pricing.
Production and delivery
Realbotix limits initial production to 225 Tabletop units and 25 Full Body units, 250 robots in total. Delivery is anticipated in the second half of 2027. Those figures and the delivery window match the October launch announcement.
Acquisition still pending
Onconetix agreed on 12 February 2026 to acquire 100% of Realbotix LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Realbotix Corp., in an all-stock transaction. Closing remains subject to Onconetix shareholder approval, required regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. Onconetix expects the combined company to trade on Nasdaq after closing. The acquisition has not been completed.
Realbotix is taking reservations for the 2027 production run. The rename does not change the delivery schedule, the company said.
